It's normal for children to experience some anxiety when changing school or starting for the first time but a well-considered transition can make an enormous difference.
1. Preparing your child for Reception
If your child is starting school at the scheduled intake time they will take part in our Little Augustine's program.
This involves a series of sessions where we introduce the children to school staff, classmates, and to the experience of being at school.
Times and dates are sent to families with schedules for Little Augustine's sessions once your child has been through the enrolment process.
2. Transferring from another school
If you are joining St Augustine's Parish School from another school, we will ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible.
Our registrar will contact families to support them through this process.
