It is normal for children to experience some anxiety when starting school for the first time or changing schools. A well-planned transition can make a significant difference in helping children feel safe, confident, and settled.
Preparing Your Child for Reception
If your child is commencing school at the scheduled intake time, they will participate in our Little Augustine's transition program.
This program includes a series of sessions designed to familiarise children with school staff, classmates, routines, and the school environment.
Families will receive information about session dates and times once the enrolment process has been completed.
Transferring From Another School
If your child is joining St Augustine’s Parish School from another school, we are committed to supporting a smooth and positive transition.
Our Registrar will be in contact with families to guide them through the process and provide support as needed.
