Happy Lunar New Year

Happy Lunar New Year and welcome back to school for 2019.

We are really excited to be introducing Chinese as part our curriculum this year. We have engaged the services of a number of Chinese teachers in Beijing who will develop a relationship with us through the wonders of the internet. 'My Chinese Teacher' is the organisation which is facilitating this very direct connection with China for us. The children will experiene a 20 - 25 minute face to face lesson with their Chinese teacher in China, with their class teacher also participating. There will also be follow up activities for the class teacher to facilitate.

We are very enthusiastic about this innovative way of utilising technology to really get an understanding of the language we are learning.
